Helaine was my mother's best friend too, and a second mother to me as well. Oh, she was such an amazing woman. So smart, so warm, and so generous. There was no one like her. I will miss her tremendously.

Helaine was my Mom's best friend and a second mother to me. She was an inspiration to all. She was a "HOT TICKET" along with her BFF's Alice and Ruth. I always enjoyed hearing about her life experiences and was so impressed with all she did. She was way ahead of her times and showed us all what acceptance means. She lived every moment to the fullest - for over 100 years!.I send my condolences to her family. Ellie Ward
