To Tony's family you have my sincere sympathy, I am so very sorry to get this news. Tony was a long time friend dating back to the early days of what was then called the World Airline Hobby Club. I officially met and became friends with Tony in the late 1970's and enjoyed seeing him at the yearly International Meets as well as many of the local shows around the country over the years. I will truly miss seeing him at the future Meets and Shows. He was a wonderful person to be friends with and a fellow Airline Employee in the industry that we shared a common bond with.

To all Tony's family and friends I send my deepest condolences.
I worked with Tony in WAS reservations from 04-66 to 05-69 and remember him fondly. Besides so many little things I especially remember Tony's air of calm in any situation. I also remember his wry wit... subtle but deep.
I will remember him not so much as my boss but as my friend!
The Lord's peace to you all.

Tony's soft-spoken ways, sense of humor, and kindness fill my memories of our time working together at Delta. He was a dear friend and will be greatly missed. It was always a joy to see him when he was able to attend one of our Delta gatherings. My deepest condolences to his family. We often talked about our families and shared funny stories of what our children had said or done. May warm memories bring comfort.

I am so sad, Tony hired me in 1971, I didn’t think I had a chance because of my long hair, and mustache. He had a crew cut. But we hit it off! We bowled together, and he helped me with the Delta Dusters softball team. We became more than just co workers, he was my buddy. He will be sorely be missed! RIP!

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. I remember him well from our days with Delta Air Lines reservations in Rosslyn, VA. I was a "newbie" from another airline and he was one of the folks in charge. He was always welcoming, helpful and kind with some great humor tossed in the mix! My deepest condolences to Tony's family.

Dearest Ellen and Family:
From all of us at the Firm, please accept our deepest sympathies on the loss of Tony,
Thank you for allowing us to share a lifetime of experiences of Tony through the photographic video posted on this website. It was a lovely tribute to Tony and looks like he had a very enjoyable life. It was obvious he truly enjoyed being with his family.
Dan, here in the office, relays a funny story that one day he called Ellen at home to ask her a question. Tony answered the telephone, and when Dan identified himself as "Dan," because Ellen always called Dan "Earl" which is his middle name, Tony, not recognizing the name "Dan" stated flatly that Ellen doesn't know any "Dan" and promptly hung up on him. We presume Tony immediately questioned Ellen on the identity of "Dan," because of course Ellen called back shortly thereafter.
We certainly will miss Tony, and of course miss Ellen tremendously. The office is just not the same, but we are happy you were able to spend this past precious year together with your family members close by.
With all of our love,
Debbie, Dan a/k/a Earl, and Jackie

Our sincerest condolences to Ellen, Raymond, Carolyn and Melanie. The last six months have been challenging for each of you and your families. Leaving Naples and moving to Hillsborough was a difficult, but necessary transition. All of you worked together to provide Tony with as much care and support as humanly possible. As the parents of Melanie's husband, Jim, we were grateful for the friendship we have shared with Ellen and Tony. We enjoyed our visits to Naples and their visits to Smith Mt. Lake. We will remember our Christmases all together at Melanie and Jim's and Tony's many stories. Rest in Peace dear friend! Love, Al and Barbara McConaghie
