William was born June 14, 1924 in Chapel Hill, NC to the late James Edwin Huskey and Callie Mae Stallings Huskey. . Except for time away for WWII military service, he was a life long resident of Chapel Hill living his entire life in the home of his birth. Huskey and wife Bonnie S. Huskey of Hillsborough; two grandsons, Joshua E. Huskey of Hillsborough and Steven L. McBroom of Durham; and David White of Chapel Hill, whom he thought of as a son.
