Doris Marie Doby

Doris Marie Hill Doby, 91, of Mebane, North Carolina passed away at her residence on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 1:50 am with her family by her side. A native of Orange County, she was the wife of the late Elmo Doby, and the daughter of Jaser Hill and Alma Porter Hill, both deceased. Doris is survived by a son, Nick and his wife Connie of Virginia. She is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; two sisters Lee Doby and Mary Doby. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jackie Cassidy. A Graveside service will be conducted at Oakwood Cemetery in Mebane, on Friday, November 20, 2020 at 2:00pm. Walker’s Funeral Home in Mebane is serving the Doby family.
