Obituary of Geneva Frye Walker

Geneva Frye Walker, age 71, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2020.  

Born on January 9, 1949, she is the daughter of the late Ted and Edna Frye.  She was employed by PHE, Inc. for almost 17 years.  She was preceded in death by her loving, husband, Wayne.  She is survived by a son, Phillip Wayne Walker, Jr. (Wife Michele), daughter Keela Marie Walker, her beloved granddaughter Alayna Grace Riggsbee, sister Brenda Tucker, brother Gene Frye, nieces and nephews, and life long friends Myrna Beam, Kathy and Barry Barbour, and Larry and Judy Jackson.  

Geneva was a loving, caring, compassionate wife, mother, sister, nanny and friend.  She enjoyed reading, camping, the beach and spending time with her family.  

A celebration of life is scheduled for Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 2:00 PM, and will be officiated by Pastor Todd Moody.  A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at Walker's Funeral Home in Hillsborough who is assisting the family.  The family will also receive visitors at the home of Wayne and Geneva Walker following the service.
