Obituary of Margaret Elgie Yates

Durham Mrs. Elgie Yates died on December 28, 2012. Mrs. Elgie Yates was the daughter of Frank and Maggie Poythress. She was the widow of Doug Yates Elgie was a long-time member of Carrboro Baptist Church and attended New Hope Church Surviving her is her son and daughter-in-law Sonny and Teresa Yates, her three grandchildren; Lorean Stanfield, Kelsey and Sydnee Yates, and 2 great-grandchildren: Micah (2) and Asher (5mo) Stanfield. A visitation service is scheduled for Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 6-8PM at Walkers Funeral Home in Chapel Hill A memorial funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 11:00AM at Walkers Funeral Home in Chapel Hill.
