Obituary of William Ballard Westbrook

Keith, Please see if this is ok. I think we may add a picture. thank you, Brenda MEBANE - Mr. William Ballard Westbrook, 84, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 at his residence following a brief illness. He was born on May 6, 1928 in Alamance County. He was the husband of Ruby Sentelle Westbrook who survives and the son of the late Aaron and Lucille Christopher Westbrook. He was a member of Mebane Presbyterian Church. He was a US Army Veteran serving in Japan. He was Owner/Operator of Westbrook Sales and Rentals in Mebane. Survivers include - son: William Douglas Westbrook Sr.(Pam) of Mebane; daughters - Brenda Ann Merritt(Jerry) of Mebane and Vicky Lynn Cheek(Vince) of Greensboro, NC. , brother: Richard Westbrook of Ocean Isle,NC and sisters: Peggy Scott and Kathy Poteat of Mebane. Grandchildren: Lisa Cook, Lori Carpenter, Dawn Smith, Douglas Westbrook, Jr., David Westbrook, Michelle Murray, Megan Cheek, and Marlee Hughes and 13 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceeded in death by brothers: Marion Westbrook, Aaron Westbrook, and Archie Westbrook; sisters: Fay Marie and Ena Mae Young. The funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, January 12th, 2013 at Mebane Presbyterian Church by Rev. Jeff Smith and Rev. Wyatt Aiken.
