Obituary of Philip Lee Ezell, Jr.

On the evening of February 8th, 2020, the loving hand of God reached down and took a very special angel home, Phililp Lee Ezell, Jr.  From an early age he learned hard work and strong family values, which he shared with his loved ones.  Some called him son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew and best friend, but no matter the name used, it was always with the deepest and most sincere love and kindness.  He was working hard and planning a future to take over his dad's mechanic business one day.  The number of people he touched with his kind heart and handsome smile is too great to name, but we know he carries a little of each of us in his heart.  He graduated from Orange High School in 2019.

He will be greatly missed by his parents, Caramichelle Ezell (husband Jeremy Wilkerson), Phililp Ezell, Sr. (wife Donna Chapman), sister Alexis Ezell, brothers Daniel Chapman, Corey Cates, and Kayden Caron, grandparents James Terrell (wife Pam Terrell), Helen Freeman, Peggy Ruiz-Sanchez, Carol Melton, Helen Ezell, and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

The light left behind from our son PJ will fill our days with sweet memories until we hold you in our arms again.  He will always be loved but never forgotten.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm Thursday, February 13, 2020 in Union Grove United Methodist Church.  Burial followed in the church cemetery. 

The Ezell family is under the care of Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough.
