Cathy and I were CHHS wrestling parents and attended most or all of Bruce and David's matches. It was the first years of the Price's involvement in what has been a decades long affair with CHHS wrestling. What was most wonderful was Mary Jane's tireless contributions to the entire wrestling family experience, the photography of course, the gatherings at her home, the pat on our shoulders after a crushing loss, the sincere congratulatory smile after a great win and most of all the warmth of her uplifting personality. She was a truly beautiful human being. Rest in Peace mary Jane and our deepest condolences to her family. Bruce and Cathy Bennard

There are so many wonderful memories I have of Ms Price. It is with such fondness that I remember Mary Jane taking pictures of me and my teammates on the mat. It was always so great to receive a couple of good shots of yourself going for the pin. Now I have an old scrapbook from those days when we actually cut out newspaper articles and pictures. Sometimes my kids look at it and say, “Is that really you? Wow!”. They are looking at those pictures that Mary Jane took. Spending her talent and time to take those photos, treasured momentos, of a mediocre high school wrestler. Thank you Mary Jane for the love, kindness and support you gave to so many of us. - Bruce Bennard

I just knew I was Mrs. Price’s favorite. That’s how she made me feel, but I realized with each year being in HER family, that’s how she made a lot of fellow wrestlers feel! She would come to long tournament days and cheer for us during the match, encourage us after the match, and best of all hug us after a long day. Her craft of photography was a gift to us all and she captured so many memories to share and preserve for ever. Thank you to the entire Price family for sharing the most amazing mother to us all. On behalf of all my fellow Tiger Wrestling teammates...We love you! -Dave Bennard class of ‘93
