Obituary of Sheronda Renee Bernal

Sheronda Renee Bernal, 49, of Cedar Grove, was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 29, 2019. 

Renee was born to Alton and Sammie Church on December 9, 1969. She was a native of Orange county, where she attended school. Renee was a member of Swepsonville Baptist Church. 

Renee was married to Antonio Bernal for more than 20 years. They had two children at home which she loved and adored dearly, Hannah and Nickolaus Bernal. 

Renee is survived by her father, Alton Church of Efland, brothers, Randy Church (Joan) of Mebane, Rory Church (Millie) of Graham, and Roland Church (Jeri) of Mebane, and one sister, Robyn Riffe (Jeremy) of Efland. And lots of nieces and nephews. 

Renee was preceded in death by her mother, Sammie Church, daughter, Alaina Bernal, and brother, Ricky Church. 

Services for Renee will be on Friday, November 1, 2019 at Swepsonville Baptist Church. Viewing will begin at 12 noon with the funeral to follow at 1pm. Burial will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Mebane. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions to cover the funeral costs. Contributions should be made to Alton Church (father). 

Family will receive visitors at the home of Alton Church, 6918 High Rock Rd Efland, NC 27243 at other times leading up to and directly following the services. 

Walker's Funeral Home of Mebane has been entrusted to care for the Bernal family.
