I was very saddened to learn of Milton's passing. I just heard today, but I was actually thinking of him earlier this week. He was a good friend and mentor to the Soil and Water Conservation Districts across NC. The Basic Training for Soil & Water Conservation District Supervisors that he initiated played a huge role in the success of SWCDs statewide. We owe him a great debt of gratitude.
I will be praying for your family to feel God's comfort as you mourn Milton's loss.
I worked with Milton for nearly 20 years, conducting legal environmental health training for environmental health professionals working across the state. His interest and energy was evident at each course, and he loved to help individuals be better at their job. I am saddened by his passing, but happy to have had the opportunity to spend time with him.
While listening to the Vivaldi Gloria this morning, I looked up Milton, with whom I sang the duet, "Et Misericordia" at the Community Church in my teens. So very sorry to learn he's on the other side now. I look forward to singing with him again someday.
