Obituary of Ann C. Sparrow

DURHAM - It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs. Ann C. Sparrow announces her passing on Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Ann is survived by her daughters Patricia Sparrow Holmes and husband Ron of Hillsborough, NC; Carol Lauria of Pittsboro, NC; brother, Tracy Cornwell and wife Jill, of Franklin, TN; sister, Susan Moss and husband Jim of Youngsville, NC; son-in-law, Thomas Benfield, also, three granddaughters Leslie Ann Benfield of Mebane, NC, Jamie Lynn Benfield of Hillsborough, NC, and Emily Kaitlyn Holmes of Hillsborough, NC, and one great grandson Dominick James Neville. She is predeceased in death by her husband Charles Willliam "Bill" Sparrow and daughter Donna Sparrow Benfield. Ann's quick wit and infectious smile will be greatly missed by family and friends. The family will welcome friends form 6:00-8:00 pm, on Friday, February 22nd at the home of Patricia and Ron Holmes, 302 County Seat Dr., Hillsborough, NC.
