Obituary of Carole Pendergrass Terrell

Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough 919-732-2121 Silk Hope - Carole Pendergrass Terrell, age 74 of Silk Hope, formerly of Durham; passed away on Saturday, February 23, surrounded by her loving family. She was a retired UNC Institute for Research in Social Science Computer Programmer with 37 devoted years of service. She was born in Carrboro. She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Ruth Pendergrass, loving husband of 52 years Bill Terrell and sister Catherine Pendergrass. She is survived by daughters, Jacquelyn Terrell of Cary; Sandi Worrell [Tommy] of Bahama; and Candy Terrell-Galke [Wayne] of Raleigh; sister, Jane Pendergrass of Mebane; brothers, Lindy Pendergrass [Sue] of Chapel Hill; Ronnie Pendergrass [Angela] of Winston-Salem; Harold Pendergrass of Cedar Point; and Donnie Pendergrass [Constance] of Carrboro; three grandchildren; Chadwick Worrell, Meghan Fountain and Will Galke, and loving nieces, nephews and Bill's caring siblings. Carole loved her family, especially her grandchildren who adored their Nana. She was also a huge Tar Heel fan! Per Carole's request, graveside services will be held Wednesday, February 27th, 2:00 PM, at Westwood Cemetery in Carrboro.
