Obituary of Paul Almon Barker

Chapel Hill, NC - Paul A. Barker died peacefully at his home in Chapel Hill on February 25 after a brief illness. He was 64. He is survived by his wife Faye Barker of Chapel Hill, and daughters Patience Miller (Rob) of Kenosha, WI and Anna Birck (Nick) of Ventura, CA; and grandchildren Kiersten and Caden Miller and Miriam and Sammy Birck. Paul is survived by brothers and sisters: Ann Barker of Mebane, NC, Ruth Brown (Norm) of Carver, MA, Ginger (Greg) Nichols of Wyoming, MI, William (Sue) Barker of Biddeford, ME, Rebecca (Dick) Camden of Saco, ME, Madeline (Chuck) Callahan of Falmouth, ME, Eleanor (Brian) Lee of Pompton Plains, NJ, Ted (Ann) Barker of Mebane, NC, and Janice Barker of Palm Beach Garden, FL. The family will receive friends at Walker's Funeral on Tuesday evening, February 26th from 6:30-8:30. A service honoring Paul's life will be held at Grace Church, 200 Sage Road, Chapel Hill on Wednesday, February 27th at 11:00 am with interment following in the Chapel Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
