Gonna miss you, Kurt! I can just see you in my mind sitting out front of the Club Nova Thrift Shop opening the door for customers with the crook of your cane, “Hello. Welcome to Club Nova Thrift Shop.” You always said, “There goes Carrboro’s finest” when the EMS, Police, or Fire engines went by. “Welcome to my world” was something I think I heard you say daily. I hope you have are having a great time at “the big clubhouse in the sky”. We will always remember you at Club Nova in Carrboro. Rest easy, my friend, rest easy.

TO A DEAR BELOVED FRIEND.....It has been a pleasure to have known you and a honor to have worked for you and with you together at Club Nova. I will miss you and I will never forget you. You had such a funny wit about you, saying some very memorable phrases that will be forever etched in my memory. You always had that "SOUTHERN GENTLEMAN WAY"of interacting with the women.
