Obituary of Wendy Dement Baker

Mrs. Wendy Dement Baker died Friday, March 8, 2013, in Duke Medical Center. She was the daughter of Sue Ellen Hughes and the late Donnie Dement, Sr. Surviving are her husband, Ronald Baker, her mother, Sue Ellen Hughes, step-mother, Tammy Wakefield, step-father, Bobby G. Hughes, five children: Vince Tolotta, III, Frank Dement Tolotta, Kathy Leigh Buchanan, Rebeca Baker, and Shelby Baker, her grandson, Blake Odom, three brothers, Donnie Ray Dement, Bradley Ray Dement, and Mike Wakefield, three step-brothers: Mike Hughes, Jimmy Hughes, and Matthew Hughes, and two sisters: Brenda Sue Dement, and Joy Andrews, one step-sister, Teresa Moize. She was predeceased by her father and grandson, Colton Wade Mangum. The memorial service will be held 4 PM Tuesday, March 12, in Gospel Baptist Tabernacle by the Rev. Harold Thornton.
