Obituary of Mary Lloyd Turner

HILLSBOROUGH - Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Lloyd Turner "Peggy", 84, died Friday, March 08, 2013. She was a native of Orange County and was educated in the Orange County schools. She was dietary supervisor at Watts Hospital and retired from the Orange County Schools cafeteria department. She gained much joy from playing the piano as well as from her love of animals. Surviving area two sons: John Turner, Jr. (Kay), Monroe, and Grady Lloyd Turner (Patricia), Hillsborough; two grandchildren: Jeff Turner (Becka), Mint Hill, and Lauri T. Pressley (Tim), Matthews; four great grandchildren: Lucas Turner, Ian Turner, Morgan Pressley, and Owen Pressley. Funeral services will be held 2:30 Saturday in Walker's Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. John Gaither. Burial will be in the Hillsborough Town Cemetery.
