Ed was truly instrumental in furthering my entrepreneurial development as a key mentor during the Fusion Ventures days and beyond. I owe a considerable amount of my present entrepreneurial success to Ed and would like to consider myself a small part of his larger continuing legacy. I worked with Ed through several of his entrepreneurial ventures, and came to know him as a loyal, compassionate man with a quick smile, keen sense of curiosity, and uncanny ability to bring people together around a crazy new idea. Whenever I see some cool new technology or idea, I always think to myself “I wonder what Ed would think?” I am very saddened by his passing and I will never forget him! Ed always spoke so fondly of his family and especially loved bragging about his daughters. To Anna and girls, my deepest sympathies.

Even though I hadn’t spoken with Ed for many years he made a positive impact in my life and thought of him often. I remember working for him one summer painting with Rudy and Richard, back packing old Rag mountain in the winter, hanging out at Springfield Mall, and sharing many laughs. I will play some REO or Rush and smile thinking of Ed. You will be missed my old friend.
