Mr Patterson was my 4th grade teacher. I hated math and he encouraged me to join his number sense club to help me strengthen my math skills. He did more than make me a better math student. Through his kindness, he remained in my memory and the first time I saw him at the Astrodome I was thrilled! I went on to visit him for years when I would attend games. He always remembered me and gave me a big hug. I know he is an angel in heaven and hope to see him again and hug him someday.

Mr Patterson was my fifth grade teacher at Northline Elementary in Houston.I always felt he was a fantastic teacher. I always had a problem with math, but the way he taught helped me to understand. He was really patient. I still have a picture my mom took of Mr Patterson and myself together in 1968 or 69. My deepest condolences to all of you his family. I have fond memories and felt a deep respect for him not only as a teacher, but also for his baseball knowledge. He was not only a great teacher but he was also an exceptional person as well.

Me Patterson was my 6th grade teacher at Northline Elementary in 1970. He was a fabulous teacher and I will remember him always. He made a huge impact on my life.

Mr. Patterson was my 5th and 6th grade teacher at Northline Elem. Houston Texas in the 60's. I'm 63 now so you can do the numbers. He was by far my favorite teacher and I learn a great many things from him. I'm glad he had a long life and look forward to seeing him again.

My prayers will be for you and your family. I knew Bob through my school friend Jeff. Stayed in touch as I grew up and always enjoyed conversation about life and sports. He was respectful and always encourage me to succeed in life. Told him good bye when he left Houston. Missed hanging out with him. Great friend, father, Grand Pa and man. Rest well Bob, I will see you again my brother. Loved and missed.
