Our celebration didn't turn out as we'd planned for the Marie Corp Birthday or Veterans day, but somehow I know you celebrated in your own way. I pray you made it to Washington . A good man has been lost! I had the pleasure of hiring Mr. Cooper and working with him for over a year. We kept in touch because my son and his granddaughter are classmates and friends. On last Wednesday, after the 8th-grade promotion ceremony, we laughed, hugged and talked. He was so proud of his granddaughter and was so gracious toward my son. To hear that he left this earth a few hours later was the worst kind of surprise. We will be praying for God to grant your family peace and increased faith to support you all through this difficult time.

I had the pleasure to work with Tom at Phillips. Every morning we'd chat about anything and everything. He was never too busy to say hello and to take time to speak to my children. Although I've never met any of the family, I feel like I know you because he so often spoke of everyone. The three of us will miss him dearly and will keep your family in our prayers.
