Ms. Blackwood was such a nice person and I really enjoyed talking to her when she would stop by the office where I worked. I have a daughter named Georgia, and she asked how my Georgia was doing every time. She even brought a little doll for her one day. Ms. Blackwood was a very thoughtful and kind person. You do not know me, but I worked with Georgia in Radiology at Duke back in the day! She was the medical records clerk and the nicest lady in the department! She always smiled, and she knew just where to find the records! I always remembered she was a great style conscious lady with a ready smile. Blessings. Rachel Phelps Hawkins, Hillsborough!

My Dearest Aunt Georgia, You were such a great part of my childhood, the sleepovers, the Mary Kay makeover parties with family and cousins. I always enjoyed your beautiful doll collection. I remember my last sleepover, the next morning had been the date of Elvis' death. At which time we had gotten ready to go out and search for Elvis items at Kmart. You showed me unconditional Love, just as my parents had, I will always be forever greatful to my Grandparents whom started such a beautiful Christian family, which has lasted thorough generations.
