Obituary of Patricia Morrissey Kropp

Patricia Kropp died on March 29 at Carol Woods Retirement Community surrounded by her family. She and her husband Paul are long term residents of Chapel Hill. She was the mother of David of Columbus, OH and Sonia of Chapel Hill. She had 5 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren. She experienced many adventures in life as a stewardess for TWA, bookkeeper for Triangle Office Equipment and IES Engineers, owner/operator of the Subway at Timberlyne, and water aerobics instructor at the Homestead Aquatic Center. She assisted in teaching medical students about arthritis through the Patient Partners program. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 3 at the Newman Catholic Student Center, 218 Pittsboro St, Chapel Hill 27514 preceded by a visitation at 1:00. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Time to Grow Campaign of the Newman Center.
