I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Dr.Brooks. I did not know him very well but would like to share an act of kindness. I was a young woman just getting out on my own in Dunn, NC in 1998. I lived in a little apartment house between 1998-2000. I can't remember the winter but we had a huge snow. My car was buried in snow and this nice man that lived in the apartment behind me helped me dig it out. It was that day that I learned this man was Dr. Brooks and this was his home away from home, just during the week. I have never forgotten that day or the kindness shown by Dr.Brooks. Prayers and thoughts go out to the family.

Martha Greg was a very special individual as you well know. I remember when the two of you met. Although I have not been in contact since those early days it is amazing what the two of you accomplished together. Greg will be missed by so many people however the impact of his life will endure as he was so instrumental in their careers and life.
