Obituary of Roberta Sully Rosenberg

Roberta Sully Rosenberg of Chapel Hill, NC passed away Thursday, November 20th at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill at the age of 90.
Roberta, who everyone knew as Bobbie, daughter of Frances Brand and Horace Sully, was born and raised in Long Branch, NJ. She moved to Fair Haven, NJ upon her marriage to her beloved husband Bernard, where they raised their two daughters.
While living in Fair Haven Bobbie was an active member of the Fair Haven Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Red Banks Elks. Bobbie enjoyed her many years working at Fort Monmouth and upon retirement, almost 30 years ago, Bobbie and Bernie moved to Marco Island and later Naples, Fl. They enjoyed their golden years there with friends and family, were members of the Marco Island Historical Society and were involved in many social and charitable activities through the Shriners, of which Bernie was a member, until Bernie passed away in 2001. Bobbie spent most of her remaining years living with her daughter, Robin and family in Chapel Hill.
Bobbie is predeceased by her husband Bernard, her sister Beatrice and brothers Charles and William. She is survived by her daughter, Robin Rosenberg and her husband Daniel Giuliani, her daughter Penny Winsor and her husband Richard, and her grandson, Paeder Wall.
Arrangements are under the care of Walker's Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, NC 27516. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
