Obituary of Alphie Andrews Utsman

Hillsborough - Mrs. Alphie Andrews Utsman died Friday September 4, 2015. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who lit up a room with her zany personality. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Utsman, son, Oscar Utsman, and great grandson, Ian Pound. Surviving are her brothers: Bobby Andrews (Mary), and J. C. Andrews (Mary), sons: Charles Utsman (Twila), Tim Utsman (Karen), and James Utsman (Wendy), daughters: Vanessa Utsman (Glenn) and Rhonda Utsman, grandchildren: Jennifer, Evan, Jessica, Erica, Juston, Tiffany, Cory, Brittany, Amanda and Heather, and 23 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Tuesday in Walker's Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor James Evans. Burial will be in Hillsborough Town Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-2 PM Tuesday prior to the service. The family will be at 1217 Ben Johnson Road at other times. Pallbearers: David Andrews, Dwayne Utsman, Cory Utsman, Phillip Evans, Ricky Hunt, and Juston Utsman and honorary pallbearer will be Ethan Long.
