Wylie Cole

Hillsborough - Mr. Wylie Stephen Cole, 72, died September 17, 2016. He was a native of Orange County. He was a graduate of Hillsboro High School and received his associate degree from a technical school. He served in the U.S. Air Force and later worked for Burlington Mills until retirement. He was married to Faye Carroll for many years. Surviving are his wife, four nieces: Terry Lynn Bennett, Lee Cole, Diana C. Parker, and Jennifer Hobson; and three nephews: Wallace Cole, Jr. Gary Charles Durham and Ronnie Dale Durham. He was predeceased by his parents, Cad Wallace and Nora Tyson Cole, sister, Betty Lou Durham, and three brothers: Wallace A. Cole, Sr., Richard Bryan Cole, and Cecil Carson Cole.
