William Olive

William Thomas Olive, 77, passed away on February 26, 2016 at Alamance Caswell Hospice Home in Burlington, NC. He was born on May 17, 1938 in Durham, NC, to the late Roy C. Olive and Lois George Olive. He was retired from General Telephone Company. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Geneva Grasty Olive, his daughters: Mona Lisa Olive of Burlington, NC and Cynthia Olive Williams of Mebane, NC, a granddaughter, Victoria Leigh Williams of Cary, NC, two sisters: Deborah McCartney, and Penny Sue Olive, both of Mebane, NC and a brother: Raymond Olive of Halifax, VA. In addition to his parents, Mr. Olive was preceded in death by his sisters: Merrill Cook and Margaret Byrd. Per Mr. Olive's request, there will be no formal memorial services held. In Lieu of Flowers the family request donations be made to the charity of your choice. Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough is in charge of arrangements.
