William Jacobs

Chapel Hill - William Linwood Jacobs, 82 of Chapel Hill, passed away Monday, December 5, 2016 at UNC Medical Center with this family by his side. William was a much loved Father, Grandfather and Brother. William was born in Horry County, SC, to the late Grover Edison Jacobs and Annie Dowd Jacobs, he was the husband of the late Betty Owen Jacobs. He worked for the Lions Club Industries as a Machine Operator prior to his retirement. William is survived by his daughter, Lori Edwards of Chapel Hill, a grandson, Hunter J. Edwards of Chapel Hill, a brother, George Jacobs (Linda) of Johns Creek, GA, an aunt, Audrey Harper of Tabor City, NC, special cousins, Roger Harper (Pat) of Harrisburg, NC and Bill "Buster" Harper (Diane) of Tabor City, NC. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM, Friday, December 9, 2016 at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S. Wilmington, St. Raleigh, NC.
