WAKE Wendi Rene Hutchins RALEIGH — Miss Wendi Rene Hutchins, 38, died on Saturday, December 7, 2013, in Raleigh, N.C. Wendi was the daughter of Chip and Margaret Hutchins of Raleigh. She was a member of Cane Creek Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. She was a participant in the Special Olympics and an active member of the UNC Wellness Center. She was an avid Carolina fan who loved and supported the UNC Ladies' Basketball Team. Survivors include her parents, Chip and Margaret Hutchins, several aunts and uncles, four cousins, and many dear close friends and relatives. A memorial service for Wendi will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at Cane Creek Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Youth Ministry and Music Ministry of Cane Creek Baptist Church located at 6901 Orange Grove Road in Hillsborough, N.C. Walker's Funeral Home of Chapel Hill is honored to serve the Hutchins family.
