Virginia Craft

Mrs. Virginia Craft, age 90, formerly of Asheboro, NC, passed away Monday, March 23, 2020, at home in Orange County, NC. Mrs. Craft was born October 30, 1929, in the Cedar Grove community of Randolph County, NC. She graduated from Farmer School in 1947. She was a devoted wife and homemaker. Her life revolved around meeting the needs of her family. She worked at Bossong Hosiery Mill and B.C. Moore Department Store in Asheboro. She is survived by daughters, Phyllis Segersin (Mike), Jane Mills (Walter); grandsons, Robin Stackpole (Cari), Stephen Mills (Elizabeth). She was looking forward to a great-grandson, Matthew Mills due in May. She is predeceased by her husband, Stephen Harold Craft Sr.; and a son, Stephen Craft Jr.; her parents, Thomas Jefferson Lambeth and Celia Jane Walker Lambeth; brothers and sisters, Robert Scott Lambeth, Guy T Lambeth, John Albert Lambeth, Mary Eva Lambeth (Lanier), Mozelle N Lambeth (Clark), Harvey Lambeth, Benjamin F Lambeth, and Ruth Marie Lambeth (Cooper). A private family graveside service will be held in Siler City, NC. Bishop Johnny Godair of the First Pentecostal Church in Durham, NC will be officiating. The family is under the care of Walker’s Funeral Home in Hillsborough, NC.
