Viola Hubbard

Mrs. Viola Mae Taylor Hubbard, 88, daughter of the late Ella and Roy Taylor, died Saturday, June 2, 2018. She was a native of Virginia and moved to North Carolina. She worked in Woolworths for 25 years where she retired. She was an excellent cook, especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas. She will be missed by her family and especially her granddaughter, Kaeleigh. Mrs. Hubbard is survived by her daughter, Carolyn T. Cheek, and her husband, Tony; sons, Richard Taylor, and his wife, Anna, and Kenny Taylor, and his wife, Teresa; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two sisters and one brother. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hubbard was preceded in death by her husband, Champ Hubbard, two sisters, and one brother. A memorial service was held Thursday, June 7, at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Walker's Funeral Home, Hillsborough. The Hubbard family is under the care of Walker's Funeral Home, Hillsborough.
