Tyler James Brenneck

Tyler James Brenneck, 18, passed away on December 30, 2021 surrounded by family and friends at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill, NC. Born in Staten Island, NY on January 31, 2003, Tyler moved to North Carolina at the age of 3.

Tyler was a sweet, loving, giving and compassionate young man. He was an avid guitar player who loved to write his own music. He also had a passion for horror movies, video games, Star Wars and Spider-Man. Tyler loved skateboarding and being around friends and family.

Tyler is survived by his mom, Tracy Dawson, his sister, Erin Dawson, his grandmother and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Brenneck and his Papa, William Dawson.

Due to Covid restrictions, a memorial for Tyler will be planned for a later date.
