Thomas Allison

Hillsborough - Mr. Thomas Chalmers Allison, Jr., 85, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014. He was born in Durham County to the late Lora and Thomas Allison, Sr. He attended Caldwell School. He worked at Erwin Mills. After serving in the US Army during the Korean War he return to the family farm and later retired from White's Furniture Company. Surviving are his daughter, Amanda Allison-Haney (Lee), Efland, his sister, Peggy A. Wynn, Mebane, two grandchildren: Jacob Thomas Haney and Emilee Ann Haney, two nephews: Jimmy Wynn (Wanda), Hurdle Mills, and Thomas Wynn (Jane), PA. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by wife, Bobbie Ann Allison. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Friday in Walker's Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Chuck Link. Burial will be in Fairfield Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:30-2:45 PM Friday prior to the service.
