Sydney Mabe

Sydney Nichole Mabe, 23 unexpectedly passed away, Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at her home in Hurdle Mills. She was born in Chapel Hill, the daughter of the late Anita Simmons and Frank Simmons. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roy and Linda Blackwood. In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband Matthew Mabe; children, Noah, Payson and Raelynn; step-mother, Vickie Simmons; siblings, Kendall, Emily and Gina; grandparents, Ann and Doug Barrow; and many Aunts and Uncles and cousins. A celebration of life will be held at 12:00pm, Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at Central Baptist Church in Mebane with the Rev. Tommy Lamm officiating. The family will receive friends and family at the home of her father and stepmother, 1801 Faucette Mill Rd., Hillsborough, NC 27278. The family is also asking that donations be made to Walker’s Funeral Home in Hillsborough to help with funeral expenses. Walker’s Funeral Home of Hillsborough is caring for the Mabe family.
