Susan Sexton

Susan Jean Sexton of Hillsborough, NC passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2014 after a brief illness. Susan is survived by her brother, Paul E. Sexton, Jr. and wife Karen Snipes Sexton of Hillsborough and her sister, Martha Sexton Taylor and husband F. Wayne Taylor of Chapel Hill; four nieces, one nephew and two great-nephews. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Paul E. Sexton, Sr. and Nancy Andrews Sexton of Chapel Hill, NC. Susan graduated from Chapel Hill High School. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Public Health Education. Susan loved animals, especially dogs. Her constant companion was her dog Ralphie and he gave her great joy. Walkers Funeral Home of Hillsborough, NC is handling the arrangements. The graveside service will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery on 15/501 on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends at the Maple View Agricultural Learning Center at 3501 Dairyland Road, Hillsborough, NC after the service. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to your favorite animal shelter.
