Shirley Clark

Shirley Tillman Clark was a native of Durham. She was born on September 13, 1927 and was the daughter of late Cleveland Wilson Tillman and Lillie Horner Tillman. She passed away November 12, 2017 at the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields after several months of declining health. As well as being a mother, she worked for many years in retail at Ellis Stone, Forecast, and Thalhimers. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 68 years Wiley Poole Clark and by her sister Joyce Craig and brother Donald Tillman. She is survived by her daughters Joyce Clark Breeze (Ricky) and Robin Clark Robertson (Jim). She is also survived by her beloved grandson Jeffrey Breeze (Sarah) and two great-grandchildren Caroline Breeze and Joseph Breeze. Graveside services will be at 2:00PM on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Maplewood Cemetery and will be officiated by Rev. Al Horne. The family appreciates the care she received while at Hawfields and from Hospice of Alamance/Caswell.
