Sharrane Glenn Lloyd

On December 18, 2020, Elizabeth Sharranne Glenn Lloyd entered her eternal joy with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She sojourned as a pilgrim for 73 years. Her Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date at Crosslink Community Church, 3445 Old Hillsborough Road, Mebane, North Carolina with a visitation at the church prior to the service. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Curtis Glenn, Sr. and Nancy Crabtree (Thompson) Glenn and brother William Curtis Glenn, Jr and also a son, Roger Lucas Lloyd. She is survived by her husband, H. Lucas Lloyd of the home and a son, David Glenn Lloyd of Nevada; and also a sister Carolyn Glenn Hawkins of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She was a graduate of Hardbarger College in Raleigh, North Carolina and after 30 years of service, she retired from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She was a faithful and loving wife of 50 years to her husband and partnered with her husband in sharing the Gospel of Christ with everyone they met, especially while her husband was in vocational ministry. Everyone who came to know her found her to be a woman of great spiritual faith in her Lord and Savior and a loving and forgiving person.
