Samuel Thiron Hinson

Mr. Samuel Thiron Hinson of Hillsborough, NC passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 25, 2022.

He was the son of C.G. Hinson and Myra Dodson Hinson, both deceased.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Josephine Hinson, three sons; Clay Hinson, Bent Hinson and John Hinson “Terri”, a special cousin Jo Ann Hoyler, two nieces; Myra Maness and Brenda Todd.

A funeral service will be held at Davies Hall at Union Grove UMC on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Richard Greenway officiating. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service.

Other than his parents Mr. Hinson was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister and one nephew.

Mr. Hinson will be available for viewing at Walker’s Funeral Home in Hillsborough on Friday, January 28 from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
