Ruth Gale Wills

On Wednesday, June 10, 2020, Ruth Gale Wills passed away at the age of 91. Ruth was born in 1929 to the late Rowland Hill and Helen Gale in Santa Monica, California. Ruth graduated with a degree in English from DePauw University in 1953, she worked in advertising and business and traveled widely. She married Daniel Wills USMC in 1957, they continued traveling and lived in Taiwan and Hong Kong until returning to the States and settling in Oceanside CA. Ruth worked in a variety of retail shops in Oceanside & Carlsbad CA and she and Dan were both rescuers of animals large and small. Ruth was preceded in death by Dan and leaves behind two daughters, Elizabeth Wills and Jennifer Wills-Gallagher. She is greatly missed by her family. The Wills family is under the care of Walker's Funeral Home of Chapel Hill.
