Ruth Alexander

Ruth Vincent Alexander was born in Greensboro, NC, on 11/17/55, and died at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC, on 6/26/15. Ruth was a baker by profession and loved to share her talents with family and friends. She loved animals, in particular, her kitties, birds, woodchucks, deer, raccoons, and chipmunks all of which came into the yard to eat bread, birdseed, and corn. Ruth is survived by her mother, Mildred (Pat) H. Vincent, her sister, Rebecca V. Ehrgood; her brother-in-spirit, Woodie Farrington, all of Chapel Hill; her sister, Molly Rich, and sister-in-spirit, Patty Darragh of Durham. She is also survived by nieces and nephews: Kenny, Liz, Wendy, Danny, Avery, Meghan, Emily, and Claire. Graveside Service will be held Tuesday June 30, 2015 at 10:30 AM at the Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery. Walker's Funeral Home of Chapel Hill is honored to serve the Alexander family.
