Rosemarie Eason

March 29, 1933 — February 24, 2016

Rosemarie Carter Eason, 82, passed away on Wednesday, February 24 at Duke University Hospital. Mrs. Eason was born in New Haven, Connecticut to Viola Washington Carter and John Henry Carter. She was a kind, generous, loving mother and friend to all. While we will miss her physical presence, her warm hugs and kisses and even her over-protectiveness, we know her spiritual presence will always guide us. She is now reunited with our father and all of her loved ones. Mommy and Daddy, our angels who gave us life, are now in heaven. Mrs. Eason, is in heaven with her husband Clarence Eason and her two daughters, Deborah Carter Boykin and Tracy Eason. Surviving members of her family are her children William "Billy" Wright, Clarence "Sydney" Byrd, David Wright, Kelly Eason and Lori Eason Lindsey. She also leaves behind several nephews, nieces, cousins, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a son-in-law, niece-in-laws, nephew-in-laws and many friends. A private memorial service will be held Friday, March 4, 2016 in Chapel Hill. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
