Henri-Etta Qualls gained her angel wings on February 2, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents; Henry and Etta-Lee Terrell; her siblings; Donald Terrell, Phyllis Murray, Nancy Parrish, Dwight Terrell, and 2 nephews. She is survived by her children; Jeannine Whitfield (Mike), Derek Murray (Sheila), Diane Rahimtoola (Sharif), John Qualls (Trina); her grandchildren; Justin Honeycutt, Brandi Noack, Chance Murray, Becca Rose Rahimtoola; her great grandchildren; Angel and Marissa Noack; 6 nieces and 7 nephews.
Henri-Etta’s love for the Lord was shown in her devotion to Duke’s Chapel United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school, VBS, sang in the choir, and started the youth group. She regularly held Bible studies in her home. She was continuously serving others.
Her passion for children prompted her to open a Christian daycare in her home where she provided love and care for many children.
A celebration of Life service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Burlington.
While she was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and great aunt, she wants to be remembered most as devoted Christian who loved the Lord with all her heart and actions. She wants us all to remember: “This is the day the Lord has made, Let us Rejoice and be glad in it.”
