Ronald Woods

Hillsborough - Mr. Ronald K. Woods, 68, died Wednesday, September 10, 2014. He was a native of Orange County, born in Hillsborough. He was the son of the late Fred and Mary Woods. He was a 1965 graduate of Orange High School. He started being a hard worker at age 15 with James Pharmacy and continued working with his brother at Dual Supply. He purchased Orange Garden Center in 1985, working hard to grow the business from a small garden center to a well known, community driven business. Ronald was a man with a great heart and sense of humor. He had a great love for his family, especially his wife, son and grandchildren for which he will always be remembered. Surviving are his wife, Phyllis B. Woods, his son, Daniel Woods (Amy), three granddaughters: Addison Woods, Elayna Woods and Selah Woods; one grandson, Hunter Woods; one sister, Brenda Jones (Norman); four brothers, Douglas Woods (Clara), Wesley Woods (Alice Jean), Larry Woods (Carol), and his twin Donnie Woods(Betty), and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Anthnette. The service will be held 3 PM Sunday in Walker's Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 1:30-2:50 PM Sunday in the funeral home.
