Robert Mace

Mebane- Robert "Bob" Mace of Mebane died October 21, 2016. Born in Alamance County to the late Carl Payton Mace and Helen Alease Shanklin Mace who survives. Mr. Mace grew up in Orange County and was a graduate of Eastern High School and Received his associates degree in machine technology from Alamance technical College. Mr. Mace was employed by Mace Grading before being self employed and served in the U.S. Navy. Surviving besides his mother are four daughters; Kimberly Ann Mace, Kari M. Lawrence, Robyn M. Ward (Ryan) and Rebecca M. Bare (Heath) Two Brothers; John L. and Carl Jerry Mace, One sister; Nancy Poteat, Also four grandchildren; Makenzey Ward, Tucker Lawrence, Braxton Bare, and Easton Bare, and the mother of his children Frances Mace. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Walker Funeral Home in Hillsborough, NC
