Robert Glosson

Carrboro - Robert "Bobby" Clifford Glosson, Sr. passed away peacefully at home Sunday. He was the son of the late Daniel Glosson and Mildred Baker Glosson. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Paula, on January, 28th of this year. He was totally heartbroken by the loss of his soul mate of 58 years and went downhill after her death. Also preceding him in death was a son, Jay Paul Glosson; a sister, Kitty Farrar; and brother, Charles Edward Glosson, Sr. He is survived by a son, Robert "Bob" Glosson, Jr. and wife Kathy; grandchildren: Kelly, Robby, Jenna, Hunter and Brandon Glosson; great-grandchildren: Riley, Shelby, Ally and Aiden; two sisters, Jean Hite and Carol Hayes; brother-in-law, Bob Farrar, and numerous nieces and nephews. Bobby was a lifelong resident of Carrboro, NC and was employed by the United States Postal Services before his retirement. He was a member of the Carrboro United Methodist Church. Bobby had a great sense of humor and loved being around people. He will be sorely missed by all of us. Services for Bobby will be at Carrboro Methodist Church, 200 Hillsborough Rd., Carrboro, NC at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 10th, followed by a reception.
