He was a graduate of Orange High School Class of 1998. He worked at Southern Electric and later for UNC-CH for ten years. He enjoyed welding and working his saw mill. He enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. He loved his family and spending his free time with his children. Surviving are his wife, Amber Blankenship Roemmich, two sons, R. J. Roemmich and Jarrett Roemmich, his daughter, Malynne Roemmich, his parents, Bonita Fisher and Richard Dale Roemmich, Sr., Efland, two sisters, Jennifer A. Powell (Bryan), Timberlake, and Rebecca Roemmich (Nate Furstenberg), Cedar Grove, one niece, Samantha Morris, Timberlake, and one nephew, Nicholas Powell, Timberlake The memorial service will be held 2:30 PM Monday in Walnut Grove UMC by Rev.
