Richard Brandon

Richard Leonard Brandon “Pop-pop”, 67, died peacefully on Saturday August 3rd, at his home in Hillsborough, NC, surrounded by family. Richard was born October 1st 1951 to the late Jack and Ruth Brandon. He spent his childhood in Davidson County and graduated from North Davidson High School and NC State College of Engineering. He retired from Premier Inc. in October of 2017. Surviving to celebrate his life are his wife of 45 years, Debra Brandon; children, Richard Wade Brandon (Ashley Brandon), and Michael David Brandon (Tammy Lamoureux); four grandchildren, Jasper, June, Eleanor, and Frances; two siblings Jackie Hill and Bob Brandon; and a multitude of extended family and friends who will miss him. A celebration of Richard’s life will be held at St. Matthews Episcopal Church on August 9th at 3:00 PM with a reception to immediately follow.
