Ralph Edward Glende

Mr. Ralph Edward Glende, 95 of Mebane, passed away at his residence on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 7:03am, with his wife of 50 years, Joan by his side. A veteran of the United States Navy, he was the son of the late Edward Glende and Mabel Dietz Glende. Survivors other than his wife Joan Glende of the home, Mr. Glende is survived by three daughters, all of Illinois; Sandra McNally and Michelle and Karen Glende. Ralph was preceded in death by two sons, Michael and Mark and two sisters, Grace Johnson and Arlene Relth. A private service will be held in Illinois at a later date. In memory of Ralph, the family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to AuthoraCare Hospice, 914 Chapel Hill Rd, Burlington, North Carolina, 27215. Walker’s Funeral Home of Mebane is serving the Glende Family.
