Phyllis Scott

Phyllis Hamm Scott, age 54, passed away in Durham on Sunday, May, 2, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents Dalton Anderson Hamm and Gracie Hamm Snipes and her brother Tony Curtis Hamm. She is survived by her sisters, Sarah Louise Hamm and Lois Marie Hamm; nieces, Cheyenne Vaughan (Justin), Libby Hamm, Tammy Mishue (Will), Destiny Sykes; nephews, Michael Sykes, Tony Hamm II, Dalton Hamm, Carter Sykes, Cayden Sykes, Codey Ladd II; great nieces, Gracie and Emmalynn and great nephew Aiden Vaughan. Phyllis loved life and was a Godmother to everyone. She enjoyed cooking and loved animals. And lets not forget Phyllis had her "own book". She was loved by many. The family will have a visitation from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Walker's Funeral Home in Hillsborough. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM on Friday, May 7, 2021 at Mr. Herman Baptist Church in Durham. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough is assisting the Scott family.
