Pauline Dickerson

Orange County Hillsborough - Mrs. Pauline Laura Riley Dickerson, 92, of 2023 Dimmocks Mill Road, died Monday. A native of Alamance County, Mrs. Dickerson was a member of the Gospel Baptist Tabernacle Church for 50 years and a retired weaver from Cone Mills. Surviving are her daughter, Gail D. Hill of Mebane and son, Paul L. Dickerson, Jr. of Hillsborough; her sisters, Martha Murray and Grace Wright both of Hillsborough; 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Dickerson is preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Dickerson, Sr. and her daughter, Barbara D. Williams. The visitation will be Thursday at 1 pm at the Gospel Baptist Tabernacle Church followed by the funeral at 2 PM by the Pastor David Bolick. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Williams, Keith Williams, Robert R. Summey, Jr., Will Dickerson, Albert Dickerson, and Jonathan Terrell. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Terrell, Cody Curry, Cameron Williams, Connor Williams, Jonathan Metcalf, and Levi Terrell.
